Ingredients For This Recipe

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 3-inch heart shaped cookie cutter
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 4 large eggs
  •  
  • French Toast Mixture
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  •  
  • Garnish
  • Micro greens

Preparation

  1. Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Cut a heart shape in the bread slice.
  3. Preheat the skillet for 30 seconds over medium heat.
  4. Melt ½ tablespoon of butter and dip the bread in the mixture.
  5. Allow the excess to drain and place it in the skillet.
  6. Repeat the same procedure with the heart cutout.
  7. Cook both sides for about 5 minutes.
  8. Crack an egg into the hole while flipping.
  9. Put the cheese on top of the bread.
  10. Serve, garnish, and enjoy!
