No Bake Crème Brulée

Ingredients For This Recipe

  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ cup mango, diced
  • 2 tbsp sugar, to brulée top
  • Garnish
  • Whipped cream
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberry slices
  • Mint leaves


  1. Cut mango, set aside.
  2. Combine egg yolks and cornstarch in bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
  3. In the casserole, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Mix well. Heat over medium for 5 minutes or until simmering.
  4. Turn off heat. Slowly and gradually, add hot liquids to egg mix, whisking constantly.
  5. Pour mix back into casserole. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Then, cook for another minute.
  6. Remove from heat and strain custard through fine mesh strainer to remove lumps. Whisk well.
  7. Clean casserole. Add cut mango. Cover with custard, spreading evenly all over.
  8. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  9. When ready to serve, place 2 tbsp sugar over custard and torch until melted and caramelized. Garnish and serve.
