Mango Habanero BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients For This Recipe

  • 1 lb chicken wings
  • 1½ cups mango juice
  • ½ cup bbq sauce
  • 3 habanero peppers, seeded, minced, or to taste
  • Agave syrup, to taste
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Garnish
  • Green Onions, finely sliced on a bias
  • Cilantro,rough chop


  1. Season chicken wings with salt to taste.
  2. Preheat the paella pan over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  3. Place chicken wings and cook on each side with the lid ajar.
  4. Lower the heat to low, close the lid with the Redi-Temp™ valve closed.
  5. Open the lid, raise the heat to medium and cook until crispy.
  6. Remove and transfer to a bowl.
  7. Turn heat to high, add mango juice and whisk.
  8. Add the bbq sauce, habanero and lower the heat to medium.
  9. Cook until the sauce becomes thick like a glaze.
  10. Rectify and add salt if necessary, lower the spiciness with the agave syrup if needed.
  11. Pour some of the barbecue sauce to taste over the chicken wings and stir to coat.
  12. Serve, garnish and enjoy.
