How to Replace Your Filters and Mineralizer

Your filters can be replaced in seconds! The screen on the faucet lights up in red when it’s time to change your filter. Remember to replace the Mineralizer Cartridge at the same time as your Carbon Filter.

Learn How to Replace the Mineralizer Cartridge in Your Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow

Your Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow has three powerful filters that eliminate impurities as well as a mineralizer that adds a small amount of beneficial minerals to the water, such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium. 

Just like your filters, there will come a time when you need to replace the mineralizer. Here’s everything you need to know on this process. 

How do I know when to replace it? 

Unlike the filters, the LED screen does not indicate when to replace the mineralizer. The good news is that you can change it at the same time as the Carbon Filter, which lasts for 4,240 liters or one year, whichever comes first. 

How do I replace it? 

  1. Turn off the Water Supply Adapter by turning the handle perpendicular to the White Tube. 

  1. Turn on your Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow Faucet and leave it open to drain any remaining water before disconnecting any tubes. 

  1. Remove the expired Mineralizer Cartridge from the Mounting Bracket. 

  1. Remove the small blue Locking Clips from both ends of the Mineralizer Cartridge. 

  1. Remove the Adapters by pressing the Locking Sleeves and pulling the Adapter at the same time. Do this with both Adapters. 

  1. Remove all seals from the Mineralizer Cartridge. 

  1. Insert the end of the Adapter – already connected to the Blue Tube and attached to the Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow – into the Inlet End of the new Mineralizer Cartridge and secure it with a small blue Locking Clip. 

  1. Insert the end of the Adapter – already connected to the Filtered Water Blue Tube and attached to the Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow faucet – into the Outlet End of the Mineralizer Cartridge and secure it with a small blue Locking Clip. 

  1. Ensure all tubes are securely and firmly attached to the Mineralizer Cartridge. 

  1. Reconnect the Mineralizer Cartridge with the Mounting Brackets. 

  1. Open the Water Supply Adapter by turning the knob parallel to the White Tube. 

  1. Let the water flow for 30 minutes before closing the Royal Prestige® FrescaFlow faucet.
